The Household Cavalry race is an invitation-only cross-country horse race held in Leicestershire each year around the time of the Melton Hunt Club Ride.
Officers and soldiers who have been part of Winter Training Troop are joined by guests from the surrounding area to race over a course of hedges and jumps which is 3-4 miles long.
