Ashwell is a small village just North of Oakham, in the tiny county of Rutland.
Ashwell Village Fete, which takes place at Ashwell Grange, on Whissendine Road, is organised by a small committee of villagers and hosted by the Leeming family. Incorporating a classic car rally, dog show, Morris dancers, trade stands, as well as plenty of food and drink stalls, it is a popular event in the local calendar.
